Champagnes as close as possible to the terroir

Champagne Valérie and Gaël Dupont is an adventure that began in 2019. Until 2018, we produced grapes, but didn’t make champagne! Since then, our desires have become clearer, and the range has evolved. We’re ready to delight your taste buds even more!

Winemaking within our cooperative

In Champagne, and particularly in our families, the cooperative tradition is deeply rooted. Thus, it is within a human-sized cooperative that our grapes are pressed and our vintages produced. We share modern, state-of-the-art facilities, collectively managed by committed winegrowers, of which we are a part.

In 2019, we began producing our “Eveil” range of vintages, sourced exclusively from our vineyard. From the moment of pressing, we separate our grapes from those of other winegrowers, to reveal the full richness of our terroirs and our methods.

Natural and low-intervention practices

From the vineyard to the cellar, we prioritize respectful choices. Harvesting at optimal ripeness with manual sorting, slow pressing and careful settling, use of organic yeasts and very few sulfites, and aging on lees to promote the wines’ complexity. These practices minimize inputs and thus allow us to create pure and authentic champagnes.

A walk through our vineyard

Harvest 2022 + 25% reserve wines from the 2021 harvest

42% Meunier, 42% Chardonnay, 16% Pinot noir

Blending of 10 villages from Coteaux du Petit Morin, Massif de Saint-Thierry, Coteaux du Sézannais, and Vallée de l’Ardres.

Extra-brut (4 g/l)

Traveling through our vineyards is a chance to discover the richness and diversity of the Champagne terroirs.
From the limestone sands of the Saint-Thierry Massif to the chalky soils of the Coteaux du Sézannais, via the Ardres Valley and the Coteaux du Petit Morin, this cuvée reflects our vineyards spread across four winegrowing regions of the Marne department.
Our 6-hectare vineyard, anchored in the four corners of the Marne department, allows us to explore a mosaic of soils and microclimates, resulting in a champagne of beautiful complexity and perfect balance.
This cuvée embodies our vision of Champagne, guided by viticulture in transition to agroecology.

Heureuse Rencontre

The harmony of contrasts, a story of balance

Harvest 2019

57% Meunier, 33% Chardonnay, 10% Pinot noir

Plots of vines from Brimont (Massif de Saint-Thierry), Vert-Toulon (Côteaux du Petit Morin) and Allemant (Côteaux du Sézannais)

4 to 5 years of aging on lees

Extra-Brut (4 g/l)

The unlikely yet magical encounter of two exceptional terroirs: one, north of the Marne, composed of limestone sands where Meunier and Pinot Noir thrive; the other, to the south, with shallow, chalky soils, dedicated to Chardonnay.

From this alliance comes a champagne that seduces with its balance: fruity, delicate, creamy, sunny... So many adjectives that are constantly used to describe it.

It is therefore often unanimously acclaimed.

Frisson Blanc

The most sincere expression of our land

Harvest 2020

100% Chardonnay

Plot of old vines from Vert-Toulon | Côteaux du Petit Morin

3 to 4 years of aging on lees

Brut Nature (zéro dosage)

An old vine perched atop a windswept hill. It often shivers in winter and early spring, despite its southern exposure. Beneath our feet, the chalk surfaces, barely concealed beneath shallow soil.

On this precious land, we deliberately control yields to obtain concentrated grapes, a true reflection of the soil's minerality. The shift in our viticultural practices toward agroecology has transformed our grapes, giving the wine a beautiful depth.

Without dosage, the terroir expresses itself freely: an iodized character, aromas of fresh lemon, a long, saline finish of remarkable purity and delicacy...

The secret of a terroir’s vintage

Harvest 2021

85% Meunier, 15% Pinot noir

Plot from Brimont (Massif de Saint-Thierry)

Extra-brut (2 g/l)

A Blanc de Noirs of rare intensity, born on the lands of the Massif de Saint-Thierry, north of Reims.

This cuvée embodies the beauty of a terroir shaped by adversity, having braved the ravages of mildew in 2021 to produce a wine of striking depth.

Paradoxically, this struggle has born a dazzling expression of the vintage, a rare and fleeting moment where power meets elegance, a testament to nature's resilience.

Available from June 2025

A few words about our champagnes

The Eveil range

“Eveil”: this is the name we chose to designate the first champagnes made exclusively from our grapes.
This term reflects our awareness of the need to reinvent our practices, as well as the gradual adoption of a more holistic approach to agriculture. It also reflects our growing commitment to winemaking. Through these vintages, we allow the pure and authentic aromas of our grapes to fully express themselves. The result? Champagnes of rare precision, both refined and vibrant, which we hope will awaken your senses.

Other vintages will be added to the Eveil range in the years to come. Patience…

Historical ranges

Our first two ranges, developed by blending our grapes with those of other cooperative winegrowers, are still available.
We have continued to produce these vintages until 2022.
You can find them at the estate or directly on our online store for a few more years.
